Trunks

The trunk of a tree shows its outer strength. Every tree trunk has a different texture. On his photography journey Kushan Bhareti  decided to capture macro photographs of the tree trunks that he passed by using his Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone.

Street View: Moratuwa

Kushan Bhareti enrolled on a journey through the busy streets of Moratuwa in the Colombo district with his Samsung Galaxy S5 smart phone and captured points of interest in the busy city known for its woodwork.

Ancient Cities: Yapahuwa

Yapahuwa was selected as the 4th major capital of Sri Lanka by the King Bhuvenakabhahu 1. The kingdom held it's reputation for it's security in times of invasion by kingdoms of South India and was a resting place of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. These photographs were captured by Janeth Fernando as he visited the ruins of the ancient city.

Cold Germany

As winter strikes, the realms of Europe freeze. Dilina De Silva captured the frozen Germany when he visited the country in early 2015. Christmas is in the air and since its another winter we've got snow on the ground.
